On the 12th of April 2021, just prior to the beginning of the Holy month of Ramadan, an important event took place. The Association of Exporters of Uzbekistan and ‘Halal Control Central Asia’ (a branch of ‘Halal Control Lithuania’) signed a Cooperation Agreement that will help manufacturers from Uzbekistan to export their products to countries such as: Gulf Countries, Malaysia, Singapore, Pakistan, European countries, Asia, Africa and other countries, and will contribute to the development of Ziarat tourism in Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed the possibilities of exporting Uzbek products to various countries, and also agreed on joint assistance to producers from Uzbekistan in taking part in the MIHAS international exhibition, which will be held in Malaysia in September this year.

The CEO of ‘Halal Control Central Asia’ and ‘Halal Control Lithuania’ Farruh Azimov informed the chairman of the Association of Exporters of Uzbekistan Mukhtor Umarov that he is the president of the Association of Halal Certifiers (AHAC). Both sides expressed hope that the Fourth General Assembly of the AHAC can be held in Tashkent at the end of this year. This event can significantly contribute to the development of Ziarat tourism in Uzbekistan.

We sincerely believe that the cooperation between the two organizations will be long and successful.
